As soon as the speeches on the podium set up by the opposition began, protesters threw Molotov cocktails at the town hall, while the police called for calm.
In addition to the molotov, the protesters threw eggs and apples in front of the municipality. The protesters have also started throwing onions and other vegetables in the direction of the municipality.
The opposition and the Alliance for Defense are protesting about the 5 D file, where officials and former directors of the Municipality were arrested by order of SPAK.
Meanwhile, police forces have surrounded the building.
