The leader of "Albania Becomes" Adriatik Lapaj has described what happened on January 21, 14 years ago, on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard in the capital, where 4 protesters were killed, as an event that screams for justice.
In the studio of "Off the Record" with Andrea Dangli on A2 CNN, Lapaj revealed that there is information about new evidence coming from Turkey that shows that the bullet found in the head of one of the injured was not fired from an Albanian state weapon.
" To my knowledge, there is new evidence from Turkey. The bullet found in the head of one of the injured turns out not to have been fired from an Albanian state weapon. I may be wrong, but this information has come to me. It is an event that cries out for justice. I do not have an official source. I said it because I have no reason not to say it, as long as I have it as information. I have the information from people who have lost family members ," he said.
Lapaj emphasized that "they are images of the patient's scanner that the caliber of the bullet is not from the Albanian state weapons that were used at that time."
According to him, "the responsibility lies with all those who incited it and those who chose the wrong means to stop it. I believe the time has come for justice to be served for him."
