The traffic queue has reached 3 kilometers at the entrance of Albania at the border crossing of Qafë Bota, which connects Greece with our country.
They are mainly foreign tourists who come by ferry from Italy or Turkey, who choose the Egnatia route to arrive from Eastern European countries for vacation in our country.
The queue started at noon, while the high temperatures made it difficult for citizens to wait for long hours.
Also, long queues have been created at the entrance and exit of the border crossing point in Kakavija due to the influx of vacationers in our country. The police informed tourists and immigrants to use the Tre Urave customs office in Charçovo in order to reduce the outflow.
The Greek police in Kakavije are currently working with 3 exit and 3 entry counters, while in the next few hours they will add another counter in each wing.
