Adriana Kalaja, the head of the Court in the Democratic Party, has reacted sharply after the report of the Commissioner for the Supervision of the Civil Service, Pranvera Strakosha, to one of the parliamentary committees. Kalaja publicly criticizes the deputies for their silence, asking: “ How come no one came out to ask where her son, Amant Josifi, is? ”
In a Facebook post, Kalaja writes that if she were present at the commission, the question she would ask Strakosha would be direct: " Do you know where your son, Amant Josifi, is, who has robbed 2.4 billion euros from Albanian and European citizens?"
Amant Josifi's name is well-known to the public and the media, involved in several financial scandals related to the famous fraudulent scheme that hit Albanian and European investors. And the fact is that he is the son of Pranvera Strakosha, the high-ranking official who today holds one of the most delicate positions in public administration.
Kalaja goes further in the post by mentioning an old criminal case, where according to her, Strakosha herself has been under investigation and convicted, along with another person connected to Olta Xhaçka's well-known political circle. She links this file to child trafficking, casting shadows of suspicion over the commissioner's past.
