The High Prosecutorial Council has decided to shut up about the scandals of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.
Even though lawyer Uljan Barjami was arrested for doing his duty, the KLP has decided to tolerate the gang of Elbasan Prosecutors, who are behaving like scoundrels with anyone who points out violations.
KLP Chairwoman Mirela Bogdani is reporting to the Laws Committee, where she was asked about the lawyer's arrest. But she said that they have decided not to rush and will only see tomorrow whether they will take a stand or not.
" We decided that we would first request written information about the situation. We cannot express ourselves without having information about how the incident unfolded and how the arrest was made. We reserved the right to come up with a hasty reaction without gathering the necessary information."
"We should not rush into decision-making, the reaction of the Chamber of Advocates is part of advocacy. Tomorrow we will decide whether to take a position or not ," said Mirela Bodgani, head of the KLP.
Lawyer Barjami, during the court session for the assignment of security measures against his client Maksim Lika, said that he would personally deal with the prosecutor and judicial police officers, filing criminal charges against them for what he considers to be the manipulation of evidence against his client.
From this moment, also referring to a video published by lawyer Arben Llangozi, there is an extreme reaction from prosecutor Gjergji Ceka who is heard saying that 'the lawyer should be arrested'.
Then there is a harsh reaction from the judge, who, referring to the audio from the court session, warns the lawyer several times, interpreting the lawyer's statement on the same wavelength as the prosecutor, thus considering it a threat.
From what has been published, it appears that a trap was set for lawyer Barjami in the courtroom, when at the moment he announces the criminal complaint, the prosecutor announces the arrest and the judge keeps up the 'game' of considering the lawyer's words as a 'threat'.
