Journalist Denis Dyrnjaja, commenting on the justice reform, called it a big failure. According to him, a lot of money was spent and an entire system was reformed, while the big fish remain outside and only the small fish are in prison.
In an interview for the show "Open" on "News 24", he stated that the vetting was also not successful, when according to him how long the vetting is spent by prosecutors who pay from 500 thousand euros, this shows that this process has also failed.
Dyrnjaja also touched on the case of the former mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako, who according to him is being accused of small things instead of big affairs.
" For me, the justice reform is a failure. Mrs. Kim's escape has two aspects. From a personal point of view, her personal balance is good. The real balance, I think Mrs. Kim leaves Albania worse today than it was. American investments are not at all, so they are indicators that we as a product have zero or something, but not growing.
As for the former minister Tahiri, he was from the old justice, he started from the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, not from SPAK. The big fish are out while the little ones are in. If there is a failure, it is the justice reform because the two vetting commissions are essentially corrupt. There are many people today who have gone through vetting that they don't deserve. Someone left for a bottle of water that didn't justify it, while someone's eyes were closed.
For me, vetting has fallen, so reform has fallen. Because the vetting was aimed at cleaning up the justice system. Today, a prosecutor passes the vetting by paying 500,000 euros. As for Vangjush Dako, he is being punished as Nexhmija used to be, for coffee. It is being punished for some additional floors ," he said.
