Academician Artan Fuga said that he was not allowed to be heard about the draft law for the Academy of Sciences. Fuga said that he made an official request according to all the rules to be part of the session, but Petro Koçi said that he would not be heard.
Artan Fuga continued by saying that this action violates the regulations of the Assembly of Albania, since according to him, the regulations say that no draft law can be passed in the plenary session to be heard if the public hearing sessions are not held in the committee, when the all interested parties.
"You look for reasons, because you look for logic. I am not here in the position of a commentator or an analyst, here I am an interested party and I position myself differently. A deputy of the Republic of Albania dares to veto and say that so-and-so will not be heard.
This, in my understanding and in what is documented, violates with both feet the regulations of the Assembly of Albania. This is the great scandal since the founding of the state of Albania, I do not know in the history of Albanian politics that a citizen has the right to be heard by an institution and a member of this institution says that this will not happen .
