Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has commented on today's opposition rally. He said the protesters carried out civil disobedience by violating the assembly law.
Karamuço said that this law recognizes the three places where the gathering is organized, but there is a "legal hitch" in the way the request to organize is made.
"What law was broken today? We have a law on assemblies. This law recognizes three places where gatherings can take place: public squares, other urban public squares and crossings, and private squares, the latter two must be notified.
There is a problem here that once it is said that a request must be made once a notification. This thing has remained suspended and the right of the citizen is not respected, but is interpreted according to one or the other power", said Karamuço for "Euronews Albania".
