Rama's quarrel with the journalist caused a sensation in the Greek media:

The Greek media have echoed the news about Prime Minister Edi Rama's attack on a journalist, who is seen to have pushed her in the video, apparently annoyed by her question.

The prime minister made this move during a press conference in Tirana, when Syri TV journalist Ambrosia Meta asked Rama about an investment project on the island of Sazan.

He can deny the accusations of assaulting the journalist and claim that he answered all the questions properly. However, the Association of Albanian Journalists reports that "the prime minister not only did not give a concrete answer to the question, but avoided a concrete figure for the possible public benefits of one of the largest projects in the field of Albanian tourism".

But what really angered the Albanian prime minister and what investments are being made on the island of Sazan. It is known that the son-in-law of former US President Donald Trump invests billions in this field.

Prime Minister Edi Rama himself referred on Sunday for the first time to the project presented by the son-in-law of the former American president, Donald Trump, which is about an investment of about 1 billion dollars in the island of Sazan.

Speaking at the socialist convention, Rama said that the island where one of the most famous hotel companies in the world will invest will turn into a jewel for Mediterranean tourism.

"These days, Jared Kushner, a major American businessman and son-in-law of former President Trump, publicly announced his ambition to invest in two large companies in Albania. Sazani will become a jewel of tourism in the Mediterranean. Albania will be the champion of tourism in the region until 2030," said the Albanian prime minister specifically.

Jared Kushner, son-in-law of former President Donald Trump, announced on Friday that he has completed major real estate deals in Albania and Serbia.

According to the New York Times, Jared Kushner's plans in the Balkans appear to have developed in part through relationships established during Trump's tenure as US president.

One of the projects is the development of the island of Sazan off the coast of Albania, which will turn into a luxury tourist destination.

Another project in Albania will be the construction of a complex on the Zvërnec peninsula, a coastal area of 1000 hectares in the south of Albania. This will include the construction of many hotels and hundreds of villas.

Another project involves the construction of a luxury hotel with 1,500 residential units and a museum in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.

For his part, Jared Kushner categorically rejects any suggestion of preferential treatment due to his tenure in the government or the connection of his work with the former president.
