Assistant Secretary for the International Bureau of Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Todd D. Robinson visited Albania yesterday. During his visit, he also stopped at SPAK.
Journalist Lavdrim Lita said that Robinson's visit to SPAK lasted 120 minutes, which, according to him, shows the importance that Americans are giving to this institution and the reform in justice. Lita also said that seeing the voluminous files placed even on the ground, one gets the impression that something big is being played.
"Assistant Secretary of State Todd Robinson is the State Department's top narcotics and law enforcement official. In 5 weeks we have had two high officials of the state department like Blinken and Robinson giving support to SPAK and justice reform.
But especially SPAK because yesterday they stayed for more than 120 minutes in the presence of SPAK and BKH prosecutors to see the progress of the files.
We have seen from the file caps that something big is being played in those files and the corruption that appears so massive from the density of those files, shows that Albania has a very big problem with crime, corruption and narcotics. We know that one of the topics touched upon in the meeting was the dirty money entering the construction sector", said Lavdrim Lita in an interview for Euronews Albania.
