A group of people managed to escape in spectacular fashion from a detention center near Bedford.
In April 2023, inmates staged a mass explosion at Yarl's Wood Detention Centre.
Their escape was organized and everything started with a revolt that got out of control.

Mariglen Coha was one of the first people to be caught. Police tracked him down at an address in Huddersfield, where he had previously been arrested.
Two other suspects identified as Rizah Koka and Mejit Palushi were tracked down at a cafe in Bedfordshire.
They were found to be in possession of keys to an address containing £50,000 worth of cocaine and £63,000 worth of cannabis.

During the search of the house, Samuel Boka, another of the prisoners, returned to the address and was arrested.
Enea Shima was arrested in London.
The remaining fugitives, Thanas Bizhoti, Luftim Hallaci and Arnold Lleshaj all surrendered at police stations across England.

They pleaded guilty and were sentenced.
Palushi was sentenced to 5 years and three months in prison for possession of criminal property, as well as for supplying cannabis and cocaine. Koka was sentenced to 5 years and Boka was imprisoned for 4 years.
Bodini, Hallaci and Morati were sentenced to 8 months in prison, while Bizhoti and Coha were sentenced to 7 months, while Shima was sentenced to 6 months in prison. /Pamphlet adapted from The Sun/
