If there is one sector that does not know crisis in our country, it is construction.
In Albania, it seems that the era of towers has arrived. If there is one sector that does not know a crisis in our country, it is construction, this is clearly evident from the number of building permits that have been issued by the National Council of Territory and Water (KKTU) in the last two months.
118 construction or development permits, ranging from towers in the center of Tirana, luxury resorts, residential complexes and public works, were granted in the last two meetings of February and March at the KKTU. In contrast to previous years where Tirana dominated, it is noted that permits for towers were also granted in other cities from North to South.
The KKTU granted construction or development permits for 16 high-rise buildings in Tirana and 8 others in Vlora. The height of the towers ranges from 20 to 47 floors.
Building permit in Tirana:
"Embassy Tower" with 47 floors above ground and 7 floors underground, on Elbasani Street.

The 26-story "Im Rezidence" with 6 floors of underground parking will be built in the Municipality of Paris.
A 34-story tower will be built on New Boulevard, while a 31-story multifunctional building, with 2 underground floors, will be built on "29 Nëntori" Street.
"Great Ring Rock" with 32 floors above ground will be built near "Teodor Keko" Street.
"New Paris" with 35 floors above ground and 5 floors underground, in the Paris Commune.
"Barcelona Tower ", 35 floors to be built next to the former State Security.

" Sunrise Tower" with 35 floors is back in the capital.
“Glow Tower”, a residential, service and hotel building with 25 floors above ground and 6 floors underground, will be built on “Zenel Bastari” street. On “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard, permission has been granted for a building with 16 floors above ground and 3 floors underground.
“Sima Tower” on “Bedri Karapici” Street, Tirana Municipality.
Construction permits in Vlora:
"Flatiron of Vlora" , with 21 floors and 4 underground floors, on "Dhimitër Konomi" street.
"Salterra" , consisting of 2 hotel, service and residential buildings, 13 and 24 floors above ground and 3 floors underground.
Residential complex with 11 and 13 floors above ground and 2 underground floors on "Zenel Murra" street.
"Flag Bay" , a tourist and residential complex with 14 floors above ground and 2 floors underground.
The "favorite" of politics, Bashkim Ulaj, could not be missing from these construction permits. KKT has approved the power plant to be built in Roskovec by Terna and Gener 2 of Ulaj, strongly opposed by residents and civil society.
Other permits worth mentioning are those for the Spitalla solar park for the French of Voltalia, while in Lezha a construction permit has been granted for the second phase of the "Dukagjini Resort", a hotel and casino in Shëngjin.
