Further in this response it is emphasized that: " Demanding respect for all the rights of the citizen in question, at all stages of the judicial process, the Albanian side asked the Chinese authorities to avoid the application of capital punishment ".
MEPJ on behalf of the Albanian government indicates that the request was forwarded earlier to the Foreign Minister of the Republic
People of China, from his Albanian counterpart through an official letter.
MEPJ states at the end of the answer to Top Channel's question that it will continue to follow this matter with the highest priority.
