Albanian military intelligence will provide Turkish intelligence with secret information....
Albania will increase military cooperation with Turkey. In February of this year, Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a visit to Turkey, where he met with Erdogan and several agreements were signed. One of them was a military agreement, which has only now become public. The Rama-Erdogan Pact has gone to the Assembly for approval and there are two elements.
First, Turkey undertakes the training of the Albanian army. Ankara will offer courses in its training centers. Second, there will be cooperation between military secret services.
Currently, the Defense Intelligence and Security Agency is in the hands of the Americans. But it seems that there will be cooperation with Turkey, for those states that are "enemies". In short, Albanian military intelligence will provide secret information to Turkish intelligence.
" This Article covers developments in the field of interest of the Armed Forces of the Parties in relation to those countries which are considered to harm the mutual interests of the Parties and which will be determined jointly, giving priority to military activities and the exchange of military intelligence information for the activities of these countries in the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Albania ", it is emphasized in the agreement.

It is further stated that the exchange of intelligence information shall be carried out by the following means and according to the following methods: a. Any matter of coordination (including subjects of exchange) shall be determined between the Parties by mutual agreement for the relevant year during bilateral negotiations held by the Chiefs of Military Intelligence of both countries or by personnel authorized by them on a rotating basis, once a year Republic of Turkey and one year in the Republic of Albania. b. The Visiting Party shall notify the Host Party of the name, rank, appointment and security clearance of the members of the delegation at least fifteen (15) days before the scheduled date; c. The language of documents and negotiations will be English. Negotiations can be conducted through an interpreter, if required; d. The information that can be exchanged will be submitted in document form. If there is any CD. DVD. film. photography. slides, etc.. regarding this information, they must be attached to the document.
Both parties agree to respond to each other's requests for information as soon as possible through mutually agreed secure channels.
Also, it is said that the request for the exchange of military intelligence information will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may be rejected, if they endanger the sovereignty and national security of one of the parties or broadly contradict its national/international interests.
It remains to be seen how this pact will be received by the US, since the Americans are the ones who ultimately decide. This is because secret military information is at stake. / Pamphlet
