An unprecedented case occurred in Këlcyrë, where the leader of the Socialist Party branch, Hodjan Selmani, who is also the director of the Përmet hospital, raped two general patrol officers.
The incident occurred on Thursday of last week at the place known as the Ballabani intersection, where Selmani, accompanied by 3 other people identified as Xhafer Serani, Leonard Canaj and Mariglen Dhosi, raped two general patrol officers.
The debate began after the two officers on duty drew the attention of the SP leader to the improper parking of the vehicle. But Hodjan Selmani seemed to find the demand for an account from the two officers excessive, reacting harshly to them.
Even the socialist leader's three friends were involved in the debate, which initially started in high tones. The pamphlet learns that the debate precipitated Selmani, along with his three friends, insulted and then raped two State Police officers, Mihal Dori and Ramadan Murati.
There is still no official reaction regarding the incident, while it is learned that Selmani continues his duty as a public official, director of the Përmet Hospital, undisturbed. This is not the first time that officials in positions of power violate, insult or become protagonists in quarrels and conflicts, with police officers, or citizens. In many cases, protected by the "suit" of power, they escape legal punishment, thus directly or indirectly fueling violence, even against blue uniforms.
