A worrying situation is taking place in the Albanian healthcare system; thousands of employees, including doctors, nurses, sanitation workers and support staff, have not yet received their December salaries. The public denunciation comes from journalist Osman Stafa, who through a reaction on social networks raises the alarm about the lack of transparency and the indifference of the responsible institutions.

" I have been receiving messages from hospital workers for a long time, but I did not want to react because many of them have chosen to remain silent even when patients do not receive the service they deserve. But these days, talking to nurses and paramedics who are in very difficult conditions, I can no longer remain silent ," writes Stafa.

The journalist adds that for many of them, the salary delay is turning into a real crisis, directly affecting the ability to pay loans, monthly bills, to provide medicines for relatives and basic food. He calls on the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (FSDKSH) to react publicly and give a clear answer: Why are salaries blocked? And how long will this situation last?

This is not just a technical problem. We are talking about thousands of families who rely on this monthly salary. In a country where inflation, rising prices, and unemployment are daily plagues, not receiving a salary for almost a month is simply unacceptable.

REPORTING

Doctors, nurses, sanitation workers, and other healthcare workers throughout Albania have not received their December salaries, creating a difficult situation for them in relation to loans, monthly bills, and other needs they have.

FSDKSH must react publicly to provide answers as to why salaries are being delayed. What is happening?

ps I have been receiving messages from doctors, nurses and hospital orderlies for a long time about this difficult situation for them. But I did not want to react since they are capable of fighting some battles themselves. And as long as a large part does not fight for the patient, why should I fight "war" for them. This is also taking into account the fact that some doctors do not need this salary, since what they receive from patients is enough for them.

But as I have met and talked with nurses and sanitation workers these days, they told me that they are in a very difficult situation, as loans, monthly payments, the need for medication for their parents, food, etc., require money.
