The oncologist Edmond Gashi was criminally prosecuted in a state of freedom by the agents of Commissariat no. 6 in Tirana after he broke the "house arrest" security measure set by the decision of the Tirana Court for "abuse of duty" after the scandal with cancer patients of the Oncology Hospital, who were sent to his private clinic.
The inquest was conducted on Thursday evening around 21:00, where the doctor himself was accompanied to the police station, after communicating with the prosecutor of the case, Bledar Valikaj.
Usually, for breaking the "house arrest" security measure, the prosecutor's office acted with severity, but this time, apparently, it was generous with doctor Gashi.
The Tirana police received information on the operative route that doctor Gashi had broken the "house arrest" measure and had frequented the premises of a bar in the village of Kus, part of the administrative unit of Kashari. The sources indicate that initially after receiving the information, Gashi was not found in the bar, but in the apartment, however, the bar's security cameras, which are managed by the blues, have confirmed that he was in the premises of the bar.
The same sources say that on the day that Gashi had the security measure, there was no letter from the Tirana Court regarding his escort from the apartment to the courtroom. Gashi, immediately after the end of the session, taking advantage of the opening of the door by an employee, which is used by judges and prosecutors to leave the court, ran out unaccompanied by anyone.
