Analyst Andi Bushati said that the doctors accused of the scandal at the Oncology Hospital are the collateral effects of the scheme built by Prime Minister Edi Rama and the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", Bushati called Beqaj and Rama the criminals of Albanian medicine, for the four concessions that receive half a billion euros.
" I don't know, I don't know the health system, but I'm saying what could be done in health with half a billion euros given to 4 stolen concessions.
I have never gone to check-up, but it is paid even for those who do not do analysis. It's paid for me too. There is no system, we have the prime minister who decided and the former minister Beqaj who signed them. These are the real criminals of Albanian medicine. Then which doctor receives money, or spends it in the Maldives, are collateral effects of this scheme.
That minister should come out and say how the chemotherapy drug scheme can be adjusted today, what can we do to have drugs for the whole year and there are many drugs for many diseases.
The simplest thing is to find some scapegoats today and vent the anger of the mobs on 3-4 people. The problem is that when these people leave, we will have sick people who will not receive free healthcare treatment" , said Bushati.
