A similar scandalous case of the last few days is related to the security measures that were given to the doctors who were involved in the Oncology scandal. Edmond Gashi was left under "house arrest" and several others were forced to appear.

However, in recent days, judge Armela Hasantari is being attacked for being the one who "amnestied" the doctors. In some media, she is being attacked for letting the accused out of the cell.
But it seems that we are completely out of logic. The judge approved the security measures requested by the prosecutor. It is the prosecutor who requested these security measures, and the judge has no way to impose "prison arrest" if the prosecutor requested "house arrest". The judge either accepts or rejects that measure, but has no way to impose a stronger coercive measure.
Here we have that expression: " They have nothing to do with the donkey and they fall for the donkey ". Prosecutor Bledar Veliakj is the husband of deputy Ermonela Felaj. So he cannot be attacked because he is on the side of the government and the blame falls on a judge, who seems to have acted according to the law. Hasantari approved what the prosecutor requested.
