The Court of Tirana has decided the security measure "obligation to appear" for the former official of AMP, Kushtrim Selimi, who in cooperation with some other people published fake news about the leaders of the institutions.
Also, the personal security measure "Prohibition of exiting the country" has been assigned to him.
Investigations related to the publication of news or articles have started after the denunciation made by Dritan Pjetri, head of AMP in Tirana, whose figure has been denigrated by the portal in question.
The file also includes the testimony of the journalist, who was paid a monthly salary of 500 thousand old lek to publish writings or articles, published by other media, where the leaders of the State Police were attacked, including Neritan Nallbatin, Muhamet Rrumbullaku , Florjan Sulejmani, Rebani Jaupi, etc.

The court decided to accept the request of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
The appointment of the personal security measure "Prohibition of going abroad and "Compulsion to appear before the judicial police", provided by articles 233 and 234 of the Penal Code, against the citizen Kushtrim Selimi, the son of Hasan and Farie, born on 05.07.1985, born in Tropoja and resident in Tirana, building "Isha Policlinika e Udhehekjes", with judicial status not convicted, with Albanian citizenship, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Computer forgery" provided for by article 186/a/ 2 of the Criminal Code.
The obligation of the person under investigation, Kushtrim Selimi, to appear at the Judicial Police, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, on the second and fourth Mondays of every month, at 10:00.
The judicial police is ordered to execute this decision.
An appeal can be made against this decision in the Court of Appeal of Tirana General Jurisdiction, within 5 days from the announcement of the decision.

The charges against him were made in connection with the news published by Kushtrim Selimi together with his brother in SHISH, for the denigration of the leaders of the State Police institutions.
The former head of the Sector in the Police Supervision Agency, Kushtrim Selimi, is accused of publishing derogatory articles against the Police leaders through a portal.
Kushtrim Selimi is known to have financed the portal shqipneës.info, which he opened together with another AMP official, Rexhina Omeri, and journalist Ervis Hasanaga.
They published false articles about the General Director of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullak, the Director of the Criminal Police, Neritan Nallbati, the Director of the Department for Public Security, Rebani Jaupin, and the head of the AMP, Florjan Sulejmani with the aim of denigrating them in public through fake news.
