Eid al-Fitr today! Thousands of Muslim believers pray in the "Skënderbej" square

Thousands of Muslim believers have filled "Skënderbej" square this morning, where the Eid al-Fitr prayer ceremony is being organized.

The ceremony started around 06:22, while the prayer was offered at 06:58. It starts with the reading of the Koran, continues with a lecture, prayer and sermon.

All Muslims, around the world, celebrate Eid al-Fitr today.

Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims.
