Today, SPAK has seized property worth 1 million Euros from the former chief of Operations Oltion Bistri, or his family members.
The former head of the Operational Forces, Oltian Bistri, was one of the 6 arrested in the "Metamorphosis" operation on July 27, 2023.
Together with him, the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, the former chief prosecutor of Kukës Xhevahir Lita, the former policeman Ardit Hasanbega, Astmer Bilali and Edmond Preka were arrested.
The businessman Pëllumb Gjoka is suspected of premeditated murder within the structured criminal group, the former chief of the Operational Forces Oltion Bistri, is suspected of abuse of office and disclosure of secret acts; the chief prosecutor of Kukës Xhevahir Lita and 3 others, suspected of corruption.
Meanwhile, according to interceptions from the "SKY" application, which was used by businessmen, politicians and criminal groups in Albania, in order not to be intercepted, the former chief of the Operational Forces reported to the businessman Gjoka about the opponents.
Thanks to the French partners, it became possible to decode this application that led to the prison of the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, the former deputy director of the Police Oltion Bistri, former prosecutors and members of the underworld.
In the communications that officer Bistri had with businessman Gjoka, he reported to the latter all the complaints that citizens had about him and his businesses.
At one point, Bistri tells him that someone asked him for 1 million lek to film the illegal casino in Gjoka, and in the conversation it seems that the officer got the information from the director.
