According to meteorological services, Vlora is the most endangered region.
At noon in the city of Vlora, 20 lightning strikes per square km are expected. As a result, the Captaincy of Vlora has suspended the navigation of small vessels and fishing, until a second moment.
Apart from Vlora, two other cities that will be more affected by bad weather are Fieri and Tirana.
But the entire Balkan region is also affected by the deterioration of the weather. Weather experts have said that we could see a total volume of water that could reach or exceed 100 tons per hectare.
A low barometric level from the region of Italy is expected to occupy some geographical areas of our country from Friday to Monday and with the main characteristics of intense local rainfall, storms which are expected to be accompanied by hail, wind and lightning.
Due to the bad weather, Italy has ordered the closure of schools for the next day, as has neighboring Greece.
