MP Flamur Noka and analyst Lorenc Vangjeli clashed fiercely today in a show.
While they were debating on "Top Story", the clash worsened when the Democrat said that Fatmir Xhafaj's brother was the one who should have been arrested after the denunciation and not Ervin Salianji.
Excerpts from the debate:
Vangjeli: I believe the audio taping was fabricated. Friends and enemies swapped places, invisible alliances, some stray people started it and left it to that guy on the super. Justice did not investigate his innocence. Procedural violations in the process may be sufficient reason for the court to review the decision. What we see on the screen and what the MPs will see without the people following them. If I am afraid that with this method we will look at a cheesy people who do not deserve these deputies.
Noka: We have a member of parliament, a political personality, who went to prison innocently under the charge of Article 55. No one can say, only Edi Rama, who I verified was a random audio tap. Why was Geron Xhafaj never summoned to the prosecutor's office but sent to Italy, because if he went to the prosecutor's office he would have been arrested and the Minister of the Interior would have been forced to undergo an investigation.
Vangjeli: A minute before the bullets were fired. What card does the police use to arrest him?
Noka: I'm stopping talking. Please read the anti-mafia law, sir, it states that if a person is convicted of drug trafficking, he and the whole family must be subject to a property investigation
Noka: Why are you arguing, wait for me to finish. Fatmir Xhafa took him to Italy to escape the family investigation. These are things we need to discuss. Who are you?
Vangjeli: I am the master of my opinion. On what basis would he be arrested?
Noka: This man in front of you is one of the drafters of that anti-mafia law.
