Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has declared that all magistrates dismissed by vetting will not have their decisions recognized, as according to him they were revenge against them.
Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj said that with these actions, former Prime Minister Berisha loses total support.
"There are dozens of names expelled from the vetting process who have found refuge with Berisha and his party. But the vetting process has been monitored by European institutions as well as the US. If Berisha chooses to return them if he wins, he has lost the total support of the international community," he said.
Journalist Mahmutaj also commented on Berisha's statements about reprisals in the police ranks if he takes power, while further emphasizing that the former prime minister is used to having institutions in control.
"Berisha is used to using the role of feudal lord and the police and everything else to be in his personal function. He is unable to have the concept of institutions independent of politics. The State Police during Berisha's time was one of the supporting institutions of the DP that led the country. Berisha did not know how to create independent institutions, he only created dependent institutions ," Mahmutaj said for "Abc News".
