Yesterday evening, residents of one of the neighborhoods of the city of Elbasan notified the operations room of gunshots in an apartment.
Immediately after the alert, the police went to the scene to conduct initial verifications regarding the reported situation.
According to preliminary official information, no injuries were reported, and so far the police have not found any shell casings or material evidence to confirm the use of a firearm.
However, witnesses from the area have claimed that there was a violent conflict between several people, during which shots were allegedly heard. One of the people involved is said to have a previous criminal record.
Police have escorted several individuals to clarify the circumstances, while the incident is still in the verification phase. Investigations are ongoing to determine whether firearms were used and to determine those responsible for the conflict.
