But not only the cities of the low area but also the coastline has recorded high temperatures up to 39-40 degrees Celsius at noon. Temperatures of 39 degrees were also recorded in the mountainous areas in the district of Kukës e Has.
Today, we have a withdrawal of this wave causing us to have a slight drop in these temperatures by 2 degrees. In Tirana, it remains very close to 39 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday, the drop in temperatures will be felt more, where temperatures will drop to 38 degrees Celsius, while in Tirana it will drop by 4 degrees.
The highest temperature so far was 42.5 degrees, on the evening of June 21 in Berat.
It is not normal to have such a temperature value, while we emphasize that this is the first time this value has been recorded. The temperatures are up to 12.5 degrees higher than the normal values of June, where they should have been 30-31 degrees Celsius.
"Not only Berat, but the entire Albanian territory has recorded higher temperatures by 10 degrees", said Akil Osmani for "Report TV".
