Albania continues to be under the influence of hot and dry air masses, bringing another day of scorching weather. According to MeteoAlb, Sunday, July 13, 2025 will be characterized by numerous clear skies and strong sunshine throughout the territory.
Air temperatures are expected to increase significantly in the afternoon hours, with maximums reaching 36°C, especially in low-lying and southern areas. The morning started with clear weather and mild temperatures, but from 10:00 onwards a gradual and significant increase in heat is expected.
The hottest hours of the day will be from 12:00 to 16:00, during which time citizens are advised to avoid direct exposure to the sun. A gradual drop in temperatures is expected during the evening, bringing cooler weather, with minimums dropping to 24°C.
Recommendations for citizens:
Health institutions appeal for increased caution against high temperatures, especially for children, the elderly and people with chronic diseases. It is advisable to use plenty of water, wear light clothing and avoid staying outdoors during peak heat.
