The attempt of a 29-year-old man to obtain an American visa, presenting himself as a staff member of the Albanian royal family, is one of the episodes documented by SPAK, in the investigation of those accused of trafficking illegal immigrants to England and the USA. Referring to the investigation file of the Special Prosecutor's Office, the young man was put in contact with Ylli Çaušajn, suspected of being the leader of the group that allegedly manipulated the American visa application process with forged documents.
In May 2023, the investigators of the Special Prosecutor's Office were able to intercept the conversation between three people inside a "Porche" vehicle used by Çaušaj in Tirana. They talk about an interview that one of them would do at the American embassy, who would go abroad as the king's staff.
The next morning, the 29-year-old, who had applied for a visa, met Ylli Çaushaj and Artid Shtylla before the interview, the first was placed under "prison arrest" and the other under "house arrest", who properly prepared him answered.
The investigation showed that the embassy did not accept the applicant's passport, asking for an employment certificate. Three days later, the young man met Ylli Çaushaj in the "Porche" vehicle, where he told him "the documents are in your jacket, on the back, and we will send them by regular mail, not express, so as not to be noticed".
From the investigative actions of SPAK, it was found that the 29-year-old's passport was in the postal package, as well as a certificate in English with the logo "Albanian Royal Court". According to SPAK, the suspect Ylli Çaushaj forged documents in order to manipulate the process for the 29-year-old to obtain an American visa, while the suspect Artid Shtylla made it possible not to carry out full verifications by the embassy for the forged document, claiming that there is familiarity with the staff./ A2CNN
