The show "Në Shënjestër" addressed this evening's electoral crime, the violation of free voting in Albania, referring to cases published in the media, some of which are part of the SPAK investigation.
Unlike previous years, to prevent electoral crime during the May 11 parliamentary elections, SPAK is committed to identifying and preventing the influence of organized crime and corruption of state officials and private entities in the electoral process to ensure a free and fair electoral process.
The case of former Socialist Party MP Jurgis Çyrbja is one of them, where SkyECC wiretap data showed that his name was dictated by exponents of organized crime, whom, as in the conversations analyzed in the SkyECC application, he had served in various ways.
A devotion that had also rewarded him with being included on the safe list of candidates for MPs in the Durrës District, where crime had spread its tentacles and made the law, even deciding who would go to parliament and who would not.
"I just finished your conversation because I have 3 hours with him, but don't talk to anyone because they'll ruin our work. I asked him personally. I'll take it like that, he said, normal you're the fifth, Liri the seventh," says Altin Hajri, one of the leaders of criminal groups in the Shijak area, according to the data of the investigative file against former MP Jurgis Çyrbja, who says that he now feels spiritually calm after this news.
Another name is mentioned in the investigative file, Julian Meçaj, a former member of the Durrës gang, interested in Jurgis Çyrbja, for whom it seems that crime in the area has opened a competition to see who can rank him higher on the safe list.
According to the investigative file, during the pre-election period of April 25, 2021, Meçaj maintained close relations with MP Jurgis Çyrbja.
And as expected, Jurgis Çyrbja did not forget to thank his benefactor, to whom he tells how spiritually calm he feels now that he has received this news.
"Ok brother. Live long, you are great. You raised our morale because we were losing our minds," says Çyrbja, referring to the intercepts of conversations on SKYECC. / Balkanweb
