Journalist Anduena Llabani stated that in the coming weeks we will have new developments regarding the case for which Olta Xhaçka's husband is accused.
In an interview for the show "Now", in Euronews Albania, she said that the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, who is involved in this case, can be arrested.
"Actually, today's decision is not a surprise for the minister and her husband, it's been four days since the letters went. The officers have done their work, they have gone to the offices where Mrs. Xhaçka's husband works, they have made available all the material, they have asked for previous information about all the contracts that were received and all the letters that he had in relation to the investment he would make in the southern area of Himara. In fact, there is a construction there, where the foundations have been laid.
Apparently, as far as we have information, this land will be transferred to the state, it will be removed from Artan Gaçi as a strategic investor. The lawsuit brought by the arrested defendant, Fredi Beleri, was an index for SPAK's investigations, but all the documentation and information that SPAK has managed to collect so far have led to a scheme where Mr. Gaçi has benefited from this type of property contrary to many laws.
This includes the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, as well as Foto Mëhilli. They were interrogated and gave their testimonies. It is not surprising that very soon SPAK will reach arrest warrants for this case, we may have the former mayor, Jorgo Goron, in the coming weeks we will have developments", said the journalist .
