The General Director of the Albanian Road Authority, Evis Berberi, was involved in a multiple scandal, where he turned out to be a participant in a suspected fictitious scheme for the change of ownership of a construction design and supervision firm, the value of which has increased strangely from transaction to transaction, to be donated in the end to the same owner who created the company.
Everything started in August 2017, when Valter Begaj created the company "B-VAAL ENGINEERING" with a capital of 100 thousand ALL. Two months later, in October 2017, Valer Begaj created the company "B-VAAL ENG-10 shpk", with the same object of activity as the first company for construction design and supervision. The capital is also the same 100,000 ALL. About a year later on September 7, 2018, according to this contract, Valter Begaj sells "B - VAAL ENG - 10 shpk" to Evis Berber for 100,000 lek, which was the capital value.
After becoming the owner, Evis Berberi changes the name of the company to "DAAM shpk". A few months later on January 31, 2019, when Evis Berberi was appointed advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, the company he bought for 100,000 lek and sold for 500,000 euros to citizen Brunilda Buli. The question marks of this transaction are big because the value of the company that Berberi bought for the modest sum of 100,000 lek increased by more than 500 times in a few months, being sold for 500,000 euros.
How Evis Berberi managed to increase the value of the newly purchased company from less than 1,000 euros to 500,000 euros in a few months is unclear, but the capital of the company was the same. Suspicious transactions continue. According to a contract signed on December 23, 2021, Brunilda Buli sells the same company to its founder Valter Begaj.
While in October 2018, Valter Begaj sold the company to Evis Berberi for 100,000 lek, 2 years later he repurchased the same company for 200 million lek, about 1.7 million euros at the exchange rate of the time. 2 months after he repurchased it, Valter Begaj sold it to the citizen on February 21, 2022, Ervis Lamit, for 1.7 million euros, the company DAAM shpk. But the chain of suspicious transactions does not end here, because on March 29, 2022, Ervis Lami gave Valter Begaj the company DAAM shpk, formerly B - VAAL ENG - 10 shpk, which he had bought from him for 1.7 million euros 1 a month and a half ago.
It is unclear why the ownership of this company changed 6 times in a few years, where the sale value went from 100 thousand lek to 1.7 million euros, to be violated in the end to the same owner who created the company. In the middle of the transactions is Evis Berberi, who investing less than 1 thousand euros in a few months pocketed 500 thousand euros, a venture that would be the envy of entrepreneurs all over the world./ BW
