A few days ago, 5 tourists who were trapped by snow were rescued in Boga.
Two of the boys of the rescue team, Erkin Lika and Ornold Baze, have shown how the event and their rescue took place.
Lika said that one of the tourists had slipped and injured his leg, which, according to him, made their evacuation more urgent.
"There was frost in Boga, difficult terrain. There was also a man who had an injury on his leg and they wanted us to put him down as soon as possible because they were depleting his strength. Around 15:00 some of our members were hiking.
One member of the group slipped, as a result, he was left with an injured leg. Our members did their best to land him in a safe area. He was transported near a guve, he was given help. There were 5 people, one was injured and they were escorted," said Lika.
The tourists had traveled to the top of Čardak, while the incident occurred when they were returning.
"There are different organizations that take place every weekend. The destination was the peak of Čardak, which is also the most difficult peak of Boga to reach. The summit was successfully reached by the group, but at the moment of return, the incident occurred. Being few in number, the evacuation part was impossible", said Baze.
