The Head of the State Police, Ilir Proda, was questioned by the Internal Affairs Committee about the arrest of Ilir Meta.
Proda said that the State Police did not violate the law, and force is used when a residence is occupied.
"You arrested Ilir Meta as a terrorist, while you warned the gangs. You arrested Ilir Meta as a terrorist. While you told the gangs in advance when the police would come to arrest them," MP Klevis Balliu addressed.
"The matter is under investigation, as far as I am concerned, we are not dealing with arbitrary action, but we are dealing with the use of force in cases where there is resistance to arrest. The State Police, when there is resistance, uses necessary force, which I believe was proportional to the situation. It is up to the individual to behave according to the duty he has held," Proda replied.
