IKMT has demolished a 3-story building, which was erected on the Vlora-Orikum road axis, with TNT. 32 kg of TNT were used to demolish the building, while the power in the area was cut off for several minutes.
This building was denounced as illegal by Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting with mayors.
Rama considered this building a major violation, which seems to have set in motion the Territory Protection Inspectorate, the engineering and army forces, and the police, who jointly carried out the demolition of the 3-story building.
The entire area was covered in a cloud of dust, while the building was completely flattened.
A day earlier, IKMT announced that the demolition would be carried out with a controlled explosion on Monday morning. On this occasion, tourists and vacationers in the area where the explosion occurred have also woken up in a very special way.
