A 32-year-old man was detained in the city of Tropoja, after a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa was found in his vehicle.
The police informs that a 16-year-old woman, a passenger in the vehicle with the 32-year-old man, has also been prosecuted.
During the controls, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 450 euros and 40,000 alleks suspected to have been profited from the sale of the narcotic substance were found and seized as material evidence.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Kukës, for further actions.
"As a result of intensive controls throughout the territory of the district, as well as proactively pursued investigations, within the framework of the "Tempulli" mega-operation, the services of the Tropoja Police Station, in cooperation with those of DVP Kukës, have ascertained and hit another case of criminal activities in the field of narcotics.
In Bajram Curri, the vehicle driven by citizen A. Ç was stopped for checks. and where a 16-year-old girl was a passenger", informs the police.
