The Criminal Court of Tirana has ordered the security measure "prison arrest" for Elvis Shkambi, Gjon Shkambi and security guard Banush Koxhaj, accused of the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja in the courtroom.
The hearing took place under strict security measures, under the direction of Judge Marinela Osmani.
"At the moment they went through the scanner, I was not feeling well. I notified the chancellor and asked her for a break. I was sick, before the parties went through the scanner, I notified the chancellor that I was not feeling well, as I suffer from diabetes. This disease gives me problems with my vision. An hour later, the chancellor gave me permission to leave, but I was not replaced," he said.
