A serious incident of violence has been reported at "Rozafa Fish City", where according to two citizens, a person associated with the business administration exercised physical violence against customers.
According to the complaint, the victims were punched and kicked, and the situation escalated until the police intervened, who allegedly failed to initially stop the perpetrator. The case has been made public and is being investigated.
At the Security Academy, 56 students were poisoned after consuming food in the cafeteria. The National Food Authority has immediately blocked the food premises managed by the company "Sori-Al", after inspections found conditions outside hygiene and sanitation standards.
The mayor of Vau i Dejës, Kristian Shkreli, has appeared in the Criminal Court, accused by SPAK of "active corruption in elections". According to the investigation, he is suspected of having promised and offered material benefits in exchange for votes for a political entity during the May 11, 2025 election campaign.
In another case, Anton Allakaj, an internationally wanted man from Kosovo and sentenced to over 11 years in prison for murder, was arrested in Tirana. He was detained for extradition and during his arrest, forged documents with different identities were found on him.

Meanwhile, in Rome, two Albanians have been arrested for cocaine trafficking. Italian police have uncovered a drug distribution network and seized around 40,000 euros in cash, cocaine and notebooks documenting sales and clients.
A broader report on crime and drugs in Albania shows that during the month of April, dozens of anti-drug operations were conducted in various cities and areas, with cocaine seizures and arrests of distributors.
Internationally, Italian investigative journalist Nello Trocchia has been placed under state protection after receiving death threats for his investigations into the mafia and drug trafficking. He has also investigated Albanian criminal groups and their links to mafia organizations in Europe and Latin America.
Haris Monic, suspected of being part of the "Balkan supercartel" of international cocaine trafficking, which Europol considers one of the most powerful criminal networks in Europe, has been arrested in Montenegro.
Meanwhile, a spectacular bank robbery was recorded in Greece, where four armed men took around 200,000 euros. The perpetrators acted in disguise and in an organized manner, using a getaway vehicle and heavy weaponry.
