The file of the arrest of the former mayor of Durrës Vangjush Dako and 9 other people, including former officials of the municipality, has been clarified.
SPAK has clarified the legal violations that were committed by the former officials of the Municipality of Durrës for the criminal offenses of abuse of office and falsification of documents. Vangjush Dako is accused of two different episodes, under the same accusation, that of abuse of office.
In the first case, it is about the damage to a building in Durrës that was damaged by the earthquake of November 26, 2019, and the second case is about a prosecution procedure for a development project whose value has been "inflated" reaching the figure of 220 million old lek, from the calculations made by SPAK.
Likewise, the quota control was done on November 27, 2014 and the fee payment was made on February 16, 2015. On May 19, 2015, the use permit fee was paid and on May 27, 2015, the use certificate was approved by the Director of Planning. of the Territory, Adhurim Qehajaj, and on the same date it was signed by Vangjush Dako, as mayor at that time, and the document was sent to the Real Estate Registration Office in Durrës.
According to the SPAK file, it turns out that for the first case, that of the building, the construction permit was issued on October 14, 2014, while the fee was paid on March 16, 2015. While the inspection of the finished carabiner was done on February 10, 2015, and the payment of the fee on April 9, 2015.
According to the SPAK file, "the acts for this building were compiled in a very short period of time and it turns out that the real goal of the officials of the Municipality of Durra and the builder was to provide the technical-legal documentation for the construction of the building, which not only was it finished a long time ago, but objectively it was impossible to build it in a time frame of 7 months and in this time frame to compile all the documents".
SPAK also notes that the project provided for the elevator to go down to the part of the garages, a construction that was not done.
We remind you that the 10 people arrested by SPAK for this file are: Vangjush Dako, Adhurim Qehajaj, Ermal Lama, Fatmir Ejupi, Adrian Bulku, Fiqiri Fareuku, Adnand Toçilla, Meri Semini Priftuli, Ferzilet Hajderi, Djana Dedja.
