A group of Italian doctors will perform the forensic examination to determine the cause of death of 3-year-old Brian Spahiu.
The little boy lost his life after oral surgery in the private clinic of doctor Roland Xhaxho.
We remind you that the minor underwent a dental intervention in this clinic on September 28, 2023, and after the appearance of complications in the evening of this date, he died on October 1, while he was admitted to QSUT.
The event became public on October 5, where the parents publicly denounced the doctor, accusing him of being the cause of the 3-year-old's death.
According to the file, the 3-year-old died from an unknown cause.
Brian's father has accused the doctor Ronald Xhaxho, saying that the boy was only going to clean the stones, but the clinic made 14 teeth.
Doctor Roland Xhaxho rejected these accusations, as he stated that the intervention procedure was according to international protocols and that the parents signed for the anesthesia.
As for the child, the doctor adds that he left the clinic awake in his father's arms, while he says that the 3-year-old had infections.
Meanwhile, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has started investigations against the doctor Roland Xhaxho and the staff of the clinic for 'Negligence in medical treatment', for the death of a 3-year-old boy who died after a dental intervention.
In November 2023, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana requested a second examination of the results of the autopsy for the causes of death of 3-year-old Brian Spahiu, who died at the beginning of October after a surgical intervention on 14 teeth in the clinic of doctor Roland Xhaxho.
