Gjic's video scandal, Karamuço makes a strong statement: The same

Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço has commented on the video scandal of the former mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici.

He said that at the border point of Morina, in the police premises, an incident similar to him happened. Karamuço says that the cameras recorded this moment, were sent to several institutions and then kept hidden for 2 years.

"In Kukës, there was an event similar to what happened to the former mayor who is in prison today, but it happened in a police facility, in Morina, now the cameras that were set up for an investigation caught this moment as well. This camera haunted several institutions until it was said that we will not touch this moment because some scandal will break out. It was also left locked for two years", said Karamuço.

The expert said that the smart cameras that will be installed in 20 cities of Albania will identify fake license plates in addition to faces.

"We have had a very chaotic situation of the installation of cameras, either by state institutions or by private institutions. Even in state institutions, spy cameras have been installed that are for the account of governments and unfriendly countries.

Even in the country's main airport, spy cameras were installed and removed urgently. In 2015, we started to fix it, but we couldn't fix it. In fact, the gangs, because they have more money in their pockets, have started to use the latest technologies, so that he can take your face 1 km away and, with the systems he has, find out directly who you are.

These cameras will identify, then recognize not only the recorded faces, but also the cameras, as in Britain. The car will be identified at the entrance of Tirana that is with forged license plates, or is entering with a weapon to kill a person, is entering with explosives to put it somewhere", he told "Abc News".
