Meçe stated that the main reason for the separation of PL leader Ilir Meta from his wife is the burning of mandates and withdrawal from local elections.

Meçe : Look, I have heard many interpretations and naturally I have my opinion that the dynamic that begins with the arrival of Meta as President should be followed. We have to understand, LSI is not a party, PD is not a party, SP is not a party, PR is not a party. They are property. And their owners, whether Berisha, Rama, Basha or Meta, are nothing but owners of their properties.
When Meta became President, he was forbidden by law to deal with politics, the Constitution did not allow it, despite the fact that he plunged headfirst into politics, especially in the last year of his mandate. However, his legal status did not allow him to deal with politics. Now, who would take over the property and run it? We first saw a wonder, First Lady, where have you ever seen such a thing. First lady Monika Kryemadhi chose to take over the party.
Someone had to take over the party property. So the administrator Meta went to a position prohibited by law, and the co-owner, Monika Kryemadhi, became the administrator. In this whole process, we are surprised when it is said that Ilir Meta did not know about the withdrawal from the local government, because they did it behind his back. Meanwhile, in that period when the withdrawal was made and when those big protests were made, Ilir Meta was the protagonist, in favor of support, and when he saw that it failed, he changed his mind.
