The first day of the new year 2026 has started with extremely low temperatures.
Winter frost prevails in every corner of Albania. Temperatures in the country have reached a minimum of -8 degrees Celsius, while during the day it will not exceed 6 degrees.
Despite the clear, sunny weather, temperatures will remain cold.
The wind will blow from the north quadrant at an average speed of 7 m/s, while along the coastline and in valley areas it is expected to reach up to 14 m/s. The waves at sea will be light to medium, with a force of 2-3.
