Vlora is not spared the 'evil eye', according to a statement made by Prime Minister Edi Rama, thus defining the lack of water in citizens' homes for 5 days. Although the defect caused in the main water supply pipeline was repaired, half of the city has still not been supplied with water. And the cause, according to the Vlora Water Supply and Sewerage Authority, was the theft of the saraçinesca, at the water supply station in the "24 Maji" neighborhood, near the Goods Train Station in Vlora.
According to the announcement, the theft of the station's saracineska has made the normal functioning of the distribution network impossible, leaving the "24 Maji" neighborhood, the Petrolifera area, the TEC area, the Fishing Port and Zvërnec without water.
Authorities call for the protection of public property, emphasizing that damage to water infrastructure has direct consequences for the community's water supply.

"Water Supply and Sewerage of the Vlora Region announces that during last midnight the water supply station's sluice gate was robbed in the "24 Maji" neighborhood, the area near the Freight Train Station. As a result, there has been an interruption in the water supply in the areas supplied by this station:
