Lawyer Saimir Visha considers the murder of judge Astrit Kalaja in the line of duty to be an extremely serious event.
Lawyer Visha stated that despite the fact that the author of the murder was Elvis Shkambi, according to him, the entire tribe acted as a criminal group as they may have incited the author.
The lawyer considers the incident unacceptable, saying that the judge cannot be affected under any circumstances, but parties dissatisfied with the decision can pursue the case at another level of the judiciary.
Regarding the author Elvis Shkambi, Saimir Visha emphasized that he cannot escape life imprisonment for the act he committed.
"We as the Criminal Lawyers Association are concerned. It is not a serious event, it is an extraordinary event, it has not happened in any country in the world that, upon the announcement of the decision, the judge is killed. The judge is omnipotent, if someone's interest is not satisfied based on the court's decision, they can turn to another court, but not to act by the force of the canon. Coming from Shkodra to kill in Tirana, this is madness that exceeds any human limit. Regardless of being within the same tribe, they have acted as a criminal group, since the instigation, this is an agreement within their tribe, whether they have the right or not, the weapon cannot solve this, the law can solve it but at the right time. Astrit Kalaja, my friend, was killed under qualifying circumstances. He has life imprisonment, he has thrown the keys into the sea, there is not even a summary trial. It is an extremely difficult, complex and quickly solvable issue," lawyer Visha told "Rport "Tv".
