Psychologist Valbona Treska has commented on the event that happened in Durrës, where a 19-year-old woman shot and buried her father.
Through a link with Euronews Albania, Treska said that based on the elements of premeditated crime, the event could not have been committed by a person who is psychologically healthy.

Treska said that we need to see the psychological state of the girl and if there may have been other people involved in the crime.
She also said that the origin of these problems is the family, which, according to her, nowadays has many problems and a mechanism must be found to intervene in their solution.
"We had a psychologist in 10-12 schools, currently we have 1 psychologist in the school. But when we talk about education, we also talk about how to educate people about where to refer cases. How protected individuals feel when they refer the case. People pluck up the courage to refer the case and then find themselves alone. It's a whole chain that has to work.
We have cases of serial killers in the world, who have not shown at any time what they have done and may have functioned in their jobs and families normally. Therefore, it is not an indication that the girl was calm as the neighbors say, because she may have had a total emotional numbness, an emotional block, etc. There are elements that need to be evaluated and we cannot start from just one opinion.
We have an Albanian family that is in crisis. It is an alarm that tells us that the family has problems within it. Let's see how we can undertake policies to reach the heart of the family. They are elements that lead us to people who... It cannot be done by a person in a good psychological state. There is a need for an in-depth assessment, to assess the psychological state of the person in front of us. There may have been other people who helped the girl," said Treska.
