The testimony of Altin Çok's father is clarified: I was aware of the

The testimony of Altin Çok's father, the 39-year-old who was arrested and accused of causing the suicide of a 27-year-old woman in Kamëz, has already been disclosed.

His father's testimony was given when Altin Çoku threatened the doctor to get money.

His father had stated at the time that he did not speak to his son.

"I was informed about this problem by the doctor G. Sinani himself. This is about two or three months. G. called me and I went and met him at his office at the hospital. When I went to the hospital, I found doctor G. who was sweating and told me that Altini threatened me. I told him why he threatened you. He told me that he threatened me for money, that is, that Altini had asked him for money.

I said to him, G. he, did you take money from Altini? G. told me that I did not receive any money. I took Gezimi and together with her we went to the director of the hospital and informed him. After a few days of this incident, Gëzim Sinani called me and told me that I will go to report to the Police Station, I told him to continue because I have nothing to do.

After a while, I was called by the police and I went there, when I found GS making a report. He told me that once again Altini threatened me with lek. I told him that if he doesn't owe anything, go ahead and file a report. …I am not aware of this at all. My son has nowhere to get money to give to anyone for this problem. I personally did not give any money to Altini.

I personally did not pay any money for his treatment, neither to GS nor to any other doctor or hospital. …I have to say that my son is mentally ill and is regularly treated for his illness. Only the money for the medicines he takes regularly have been paid for him. ...I did not ask him whether he had received money or not. I haven't asked him at all, since it's been a long time since I've talked to my son Altin Çok. My son has not told me anything. ...I have to explain that my son has nowhere to get money to give to Dr. Gezimi Sinani, since he only receives 95,000 lek disability pension. I personally did not give him any money to give to whom," says the father's testimony for Top Channel.

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana will demand a prison sentence for Altin Çoku, addressing the charge of "Causing suicide". According to the file, Çoku, who was arrested a few days ago, after the suicide of 27-year-old Isabela Abedini, was convicted by the former Court of Serious Crimes in 2015, after threatening the life of his psychiatrist GS in 2014.

Çoku was a patient of GZ who served as a neuro-psychiatrist near the hospital in Laçi, while the accused had health problems. Altin Çoku, according to the file, has asked the GS doctor several times before, verbally, by phone, phone messages and written letters.

In June 2014, Altin Çoku went to his office and asked for money to treat his daughter and to give it to the lawyer for a case he had. Several times Altini has asked the doctor for money, even through phone messages. In his statements, the complainant clarifies that Choku has continuously given him money in different amounts, in a total value of 4 thousand euros, forced due to threats.
