The United States of America has declared a total of 449 people from all over the world undesirable. DASH has recently published the list of those sanctioned, a list which is led by two well-known Albanian names, Adriatik Llalla and Tom Doshi.
Former chief prosecutor Llalla is the first person declared undesirable by the USA under the 7031 C law. He was declared undesirable in 2018 together with his wife and children because he is accused of being involved in major corruption. Llalla was sentenced to two years in prison by the special court, but he has escaped.
The second name that leads the list is the head of PSD, Tom Doshi. He too was declared "non grata" in 2018 for massive corruption. Doshi then left Parliament and leads his party in the shadows.
The list continues with names like Nikola Spiric, MP in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Yahya Jammeh, President of The Gambia; Roberto Jose Rivas Reyes, Speaker of the Parliament in Nicaragua; Blanca Aida Stalling Davila, former senior judge of Guatemala; 16 senior Saudi officials directly involved in the murder of Jamal Khashoggi; The Prime Minister of Chechnya, Muslim Magomedovich Kchuchiev, etc.
Then we have names like Vangjush Dako, the former mayor of Durrës and Sali Berisha-former prime minister.
What stands out is that Berisha and the other 3 are on a list with Raul Castro, the dictator of Cuba. Also beside them are a number of former generals in African states and not only accused of crimes against humanity. Also on the list is a former president of Nicaragua sentenced to 20 years in prison for corruption. A Mexican politician linked to drug trafficking is also on the list. The vast majority of those declared unwanted are precisely from these countries, while very few are from Russia, Bosnia, or Serbia and Albania.
The list has been completed with the latest data and it is noticeable that for our country so far there are only these 4 names. It is said that many others have been sanctioned in recent weeks, but DASH has not yet made any announcement. Meanwhile, Britain has done the same, having declared many individuals undesirable.
