Five former ALUIZNI officials in Vlora have been charged and risk being sentenced to 2 months in prison on the charge of "Committing actions to obstruct the discovery of the truth."

The former head of legalizations in Vlora, Ardian Musta, and his 4 subordinates, Adiseldo Rrapaj, Mimoza Rushani, Krupskaja Gjika and Ariton Kasaj, have been charged in connection with a flagrant case of legalization of 12 buildings built in the "Ambel Beach" complex.

According to the investigations conducted, it turned out that the five former ALUIZNI officials committed illegal actions by destroying a file applied by Ilir Koka, with the aim of legalizing several buildings in the village of Dhërmi, Himara.

The disappearance of the file of applicant Ilir Koka, according to the Vlora prosecutor's office, was done intentionally. In its place and with the same application number, the file of Helidon Gjikoka was inserted, who claimed to be the builder of 12 buildings in the "Ambel Beach" complex.

Given this situation, the prosecutor of Vlora, Edmond Forfi, in his plea, read before Judge Arbana Osmanaj, requested a guilty plea and a sentence of 2 months in prison for each of the 5 former officials of ALUIZNI Vlora.

It is now expected that in the next session, the defendants' legal representatives will present their conclusions and then the court will issue a decision.
