The Deputy Minister of the Interior, Julian Hodaj, in a statement to the media, says that the self-cleaning of the police is entering a new phase.
During his speech, Hodaj adds that the State Police will be a sound and powerful organization in fighting illegality in general and organized crime and trafficking in particular.
Hodaj says that hitting incriminated elements or even ethics violators within the ranks of the State Police organization will take Albania to another level of the rule of law.
"The self-cleaning of the Police organization is entering a new phase. For a successful battle and for the benefit of the citizens, who deserve public safety with the best standards, the State Police will be a healthy and powerful organization in the attack on illegality in general and organized crime and trafficking in particular.
In this context, as has been emphasized by the Minister of the Interior, the attack on incriminated elements or even violators of ethics, even within the ranks of the State Police organization, will take Albania to another level of the rule of law.
On the other hand, a Police cleared of harmful elements, be they incriminated or violators of ethics, is one more appreciation for the hard work of thousands and thousands of blue uniforms who serve with unwavering faith in the rule of law. They deserve respect, appreciation and support," Hodaj told the media.
